Founded by Josh Weill, a journalist from Jackson, Mississippi now based in Boulder, Colorado, The Ethical Review was created in response to the growing imbalance and polarization in American media. Frustrated by one-sided narratives and the erosion of public trust, Josh set out to build a platform rooted in fact-based reporting, ethical standards, and journalistic integrity.
Through clear, principled storytelling, The Ethical Review seeks to hold power accountable, elevate underreported voices, and give readers the tools to think critically in a noisy world. This isn’t about left or right — it’s about truth, accountability, and restoring public confidence in journalism.
